Water Advisory - Please send water bottle with safe drinking water each day with your child.

As you may be aware, the City of Kelowna has issued a Water Quality Advisory for our area. As such, the water fountains are closed, and students told they should not drink from any taps. We are asking that each child bring a water bottle to school each day with safe drinking water.

The district has provided the school with bottled water and cups. We will use these to support students who forget to bring water or run out through the day. Thank you for support as we experience the water advisory in our school community.

Talk Back! How to Take Action on Media Issues

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection wants to make parents aware of concerns in a popular gaming environment called Roblox. Roblox is a user-generated gaming environment where children are encouraged to create adventures using their avatar, play games and connect with friends in this multiplayer environment that claims to have over 44 million active users. The Canadian Centre’s Cybertip.ca program has received a number of reports concerning requests to meet up in person, and/or sexually suggestive chat messages being sent to children under the age of 12 within Roblox.

PAC FUNDRAISER - We need your help! We have sold very few raffle tickets for an incredible prize. WestJet donated 2 tickets anywhere WestJet flies (worth $2900). With the new gaming grant rules, we cannot send home tickets to sell with the children unless we have parental consent.
